Summary

The purpose of the Production Technician is to load material and operate machines to produce components according to building specifications and CUSA standards.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Daily planning
  • Machine set-up and operation
  • Safe forklift operation
  • Safe machine operation
  • Selecting the correct coil
  • Autonomous maintenance
  • Validating safety systems and estops
  • Produce quality products within minimum specs
  • Scrap management
  • Throughput management
  • Setting and tracking goals by using KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Autonomous maintenance
  • Schedule fulfillment

  • Machine uptime
  • Quality products that support quality systems and accreditation
  • Knowledge and ability to operate the machine safely

Education and Experience

Preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Physical/Environment Requirements

  • Good ergonomics including but not limited to standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pulling, and pushing
  • Indoors, heated shop environment
