A national wood products manufacturer is seeking self-motivated individuals who are fast learners and take pride in their work, for a full-time position.

Machine Operator I is responsible for the set up and operation of a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Will work under immediate supervision; relies on instruction and following guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

• Demonstrates ability to perform a LOTO
• Ability to pay attention to surroundings
• Ability to identify safety issues in their work area
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to troubleshoot the equipment in use
• Ability to work under immediate supervision
• Ability to pass a drug test

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates and feed machine in a safe efficient manner, according to procedure
• Completes work area setup under supervision
• Ensures work area is safe clean and organized
• Maintains a production record as required
• Check’s materials and finished products to ensure quality specifications are met
• Participates in safety and other programs and meetings
• May perform Preventive maintenance as specified
• Performs other duties as assigned
