Production MIG Welder Job at Astral Industries
DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Casket body sides along with head end and foot end pieces are placed in a jig to be prepared for welding. Welding begins, with a crew of either two or four, simultaneously starting a bead weld with a hand held torch. The employee is using Lincoln Electric L-50 welding wire, to complete the MIG welding process, on 18 and 20 gauge steel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To produce quality product that meets safety specifications while maintaining safety requirements. Use the MIG welding process and work as a member of a team to produce welded casket body.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
