Roofing Residential Project Supervisors needed on the East Coast of Florida

As a Residential Project Supervisor for our Residential Roofing Division you will be responsible for ensuring the progress of the projects assigned by the Production Manager to meet customers' specifications, manufacturers' specifications and building codes, regulations, and superior quality are achieve. You will also be responsible for monitoring the crews assigned to the project and complying with quality and safety measures assigned by the Company. This position requires travel to various locations within the west coast of Florida where the Company may be performing work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively work to minimize or eliminate calls backs or warranty work
• Proactively work to ensure that water intrusion events on work in progress or completed do not occur
• Note and communicate to Chief Quality Control Inspector and Production Manager any issues that may impair quality or safety
• Prepares all necessary reports as required by Company Policy
• Delivers materials as needed to the jobs, and removes leftover materials from the job site in collaboration with the subcontractors
• Provide training and coaching to subcontractors on how to correct deficiencies and prevent their reoccurrence
• Ensure compliance with job site safety plans and Company Safety Procedures
• May be required to assist in resolving customer service-related issues
• Other tasks as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Some quality assurance practices as they apply to individual unique products can be learned during on-the-job training, but overall capability in this discipline must be previously demonstrated
• Knowledge of proper methods to apply various types of roofing systems
• Must be able to communicate effectively using written and oral skills
• Must possess strong skills enabling teaching and training of others
• Strong computer skills enabling effective usage of Company Project Management systems is required
• Must possess and maintain a Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to Company’s Insurer

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical strength to lift and move items that may weigh up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and/or crouch for extended periods
• Ability to climb ladders or scaffolding
• Ability to work in warm climates
• Ability to work at heights
