Interpower Corporation is currently seeking team-oriented individuals for full-time or part-time opportunities in our Lamoni, IA facility. Hours are available between 6:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Overtime may be required as needed.

Join a team that produces cable, power cords, cord sets, plugs, sockets, and other electrical components that are used in a variety of industries in North America and worldwide.

Enjoy a clean and climate-controlled environment. A typical day consists of monitoring multiple pieces of equipment and moving quickly to change-over product to ensure a continuous, qualty output of product as well as collaborating with team members to achieve daily goals.

No previous experience is required as training is provided. Desired is a strong work ethic and employment history; a positive, proactive attitude; keen attention to detail; safety-focused decision-making; and the aptitude to positively respond to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Using state of the art machinery to product electrical cable
• Setting up the extrusion line to run cable ensuring all quality checks have been made
• Monitor processes to ensure raw materiasl levels are adequate and processes are operating correctly
• Shutting down the line, cleaning tooling and performing housekeeping duties

Physical requirements include the need to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally push up to 75 pounds. Approximately 80% of the work day is spent standing, reaching and/or walking between equipment.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma/GED and computer experience.
