PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a Manufacturing client in Standish who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for a Production career who are ready to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have Production experience.

Production Assistant Benefits:

• 1st shift hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Production Assistant Responsibilities:

• Operate basic machinery and equipment, powered and non-powered tools to manufacture products.
• Fabricate sub-assembly and final assembly of products according to blueprint/ specifications provided utilizing assembly equipment, fixtures and assembly stations.
• Perform minor set-ups.
• Set-up and operate more complex machinery and equipment, operate automated equipment and perform more complex assemblies and testing of powered products.
• Accurate use of measuring devices & assisting others in the use of inspection gauges and fixtures.
• Move material as needed.
• Picks, packs and checks all orders either on or before the required shipping date using the necessary packaging to ensure that the items packed will arrive at their destination in good condition.
• Ability to become forklift certified and operate pallet lifting equipment.
• Must be able to operate safely overhead crane/hoist and have the ability to become licensed in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on equipment an tools as required.
• Have the ability to obtain a valid (CDL) driver’s license and drive truck if needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Upon completion of assigned work and cleaning of work area, reports for next assignment.

Production Assistant Qualifications:

To be considered for the Production Assistant position, applicants should:

• Diploma or GED
• Have6 months experience
• Must be know how to do basic math pass any pre-employment testing
• Have good written/verbal communication
• Must be able to pass a background check/drug test
