Production Assistant
The Old Globe Theatre is accepting applications from interested candidates for ongoing Production Assistant positions. Production Assistants work in a variety of capacities at the Old Globe as part of the stage management department. Applicants should have experience backstage and in rehearsal rooms. Essential skills for this position include attention to detail, strong organizational skills, a willingness to work within a team, and a desire to learn.
Ideal candidates will be interested in advancing skills toward a career in stage management, and will enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to help support and facilitate the development of professional theatre productions. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and access and anti-racism work in the theatre.
These are temporary positions which are filled on an ongoing, show-by-show basis. Hours can range from part-time to full-time, 5 to 6 days per week including overtime hours. Hourly pay range is $18.00 to $18.50 per hour.
