The product range consists of various types of honeycomb, panels, formed, milled parts and drop-in parts for a wide range of industries and especially for the aeronautical industry.

JOB SUMMARY includes, but not limited to:
Summary/Objective:
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, improving manufacturing efficiency, preparing product reports and analyzing data, and maintaining operational equipment.
Essential Functions
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researches, designs, modifies, and tests manufacturing methods and equipment; confers with equipment vendors.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout.
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor and material costs; reviews production schedules; estimates future requirements.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in relevant engineering field or 5 plus years engineering experience required
  • Experience in composites production/manufacturing preferred.
  • GD&T experience required, certification preferred.
  • Experience with composites is highly preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience is preferred.
  • NPI experience is preferred.
  • Catia V5 and AutoCAD experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience with inspection process and equipment such as calipers, CMM, FARO laser tracker and visual methods is preferred.
  • Experience in designing machining, bonding and inspection fixtures, tools and jogs is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in production planning and process development.
  • Knowledgeable in CNC programming, setup as well as bonding layups, schedules and cure profile development preferred.
  • Able to lead small teams & work independently in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to lead other departments to bring projects to completion.
  • Ability to work 40+ hour work weeks as required by programs.
  • 10% travel may be required as business needs dictate.
  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Monday – Friday 8-5
