PRN Mental Health Therapist Job at Panola Medical Center
Position Purpose
The BH therapist is a mental health professional who provides group, individual, and family therapies to patients requiring psychiatric care. He/she develops a continuing care plan for discharge and beyond. He/she maintains required documentation according to applicable standards. He/she is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team of professionals and contributes to the formulation of individualized plans of treatment, regular reassessment of patient progress to ensure maximum therapeutic benefit
Position Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree required for licensure.
Experience:
Two years post-graduate in a clinical (or comparable) setting.
Licenses/Certificates:
LMSW, LCSW, LPC, Ph.D level Psychologist or Counselor
Working Conditions:
Physical facilities are clean, well lit, heated and ventilated. Periods of stress created by fluctuating patient census and acuity.
