Pay: Rates starting at $25 per hour (varies by client, negotiated prior to starting case)

Concierge Nursing Referral Services is an established, premier nursing referral service branch of TheKey that provides placement assistance for Medical Assistants (MA), nurses (RN and LVN) and therapists (PT, PTA, OT, etc.) We provide in-home clinical services to clients throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Palm Springs, and San Francisco Bay areas. What We Offer:
  • Competitive rates starting at $25 per hour (varies by client, negotiated prior to starting case)
  • Flexibility. As a 1099 independent contractor, you determine your scheduled, volume of work and which clients/cases you'll accept
  • 1:1 In-Home Patient Care. Finally get out of chaotic, clinical environments and practice care in the comfort of patient homes

What You Will Do:
This is a 1099 position that offers flexibility and variety! Client needs vary, including ADL assistance, medication administration, wound care, IV hydration/treatment, post-op monitoring, etc. There are opportunities in facilities, as well as working one on one with individual patients.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
  • Deliver exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home
  • Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
  • Provide skilled nursing services as prescripted under a client's plan of care that can be safely provided in the home, within your scope of practice
  • Counsel the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs
  • Meet all documentation requirements according to agency policy and proecedure
  • Coordinate services by participating in case conferences, case management, team meetings, and staff meetings as indicated
  • Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior
Qualifications:
Required Skills, Education and Certifications:
  • Current Medical Assiting certification in the state of California required
  • 2 years of MA experience preferred
  • CPR/BLS Certification preferred
  • Specialties strongly preferred:
    • Geriatrics
    • Home Health
    • Wound Care
    • Caregiving
  • Empathy, compassion and kindness
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision or training
  • Must be reliable, dependable and on time
  • Basic computer skills as well as overall technical savviness
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
