Pool & Beach Houseman Job at Grand Beach Hotel Surfside
Staffing of a hospitality oriented pool house staff from sunrise to sundown depending on season. subject to in-house hotel screening.
DUTIES
- staff should be neat & have a pleasant personality
- staff should have the ability to work on feet for an extended period of time
- staff should have ability to communicate effectively (English & Spanish Preferred)
- staff cleans Pool area throughout the shift and prior to leaving each day.
- staff provides towel & chair service for hotel guests.
- staff stores pool equipment at the end of each shift
- staff issues & returns all used towels to the property at the end of each shift taking inventory at the beginning and end of day
- staff monitors all activity in the Pool area and reports any/all issues to the property in a daily log
- staff has constant awareness of safety hazards (broken glass, frayed electrical cords, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to security and/or direct supervisor
- staff practices safety standards at all times
- staff reports to work on time and according to posted schedule
- staff will remain alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and co-workers at all times.
- staff has ability to lift 50-75lbs
- staff keeps all areas free of debris & trash. Skims the pool & keeps all furniture clean & in good repair. Reports all damage.
- Attendant should maintain water containers fill at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior Hospitality Experience Preferred.
- CPR certified a must (or ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment.)
- Bilingual strongly preferred
