Police Officer (Public Safety Officer) Job at Daleville Department Of Public Safety
Requirements:
- APOST certified (Certified Preferred)**
- Must have a valid Alabama driver’s license

Position will remain open until filled. Pre-employment drug, psych, and physical screening required.
**Uncertified - Uncertified Officers are Police Officers that have not passed the Alabama Police Academy. They serve in the role of a trainee and some administrative requirements.
Uncertified officers start at $15 an hour until they graduate Academy then move to certified starting pay at $16 an hour. Upon Graduation, the Officer will have a 2 year contractual obligation to Daleville Department of Public Safety.
Those interested in starting your career in Law Enforcement with Daleville will have to meet the physical fitness test requirements of the APOSTC, a psych evaluation, at physical health screening, and background check.
