SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for developing the plant manufacturing schedule and set priorities based on customer needs and facility capability. Duties also include purchasing raw materials and other commodities to support the production schedule and plant operations while communicating deliveries and status of orders thru customer service.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for plant scheduling and coordination between Manufacturing and

Customer Service.

• Responsible for maintaining plant Stock program and maintaining WIP inventory at an agreed upon level.
• Daily and weekly responsibilities include coverage of daily manufacturing and scheduling meetings, daily monitoring of stock levels and coordination of WIP with manufacturing levels of inventory and daily monitoring of MRP and issuance of daily manufacturing and inventory reports.
• Purchasing of all raw materials, components and supplies for the facility.
• Required participation with customers during visits to the plant.
• Daily and Weekly duties - add monitoring of customer forecasted bottles

• Required participation during all Audits (plant, customer, and certifications)

• Raw material inventories – Monitoring daily and weekly raw materials (WIP, PACK, LABELS,

COLORANT, RESIN). Monitor all regrind usage and arrange salable regrind trucks.

• Pending table – Clear daily/monthly pending transactions.

• Coordinate yearly Fiscal inventory.

• Other duties as assigned

AUTHORITY LEVEL (if applicable):

EDUCATION:
Required: High School diploma
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Manufacturing plant experience
Preferred: 3-5 Manufacturing Scheduling / Customer Service and or Purchasing experience

SKILLS:
Required: Strong Microsoft skills, excellent analytical skills, ability to work cohesively in a team environment, strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred: Excellent mastery of Excel and Oracle.
