About the Role:

The Plant Maintenance Technician will work at the direction of the Plant Manager to identify, troubleshoot and correct plant systems issues, to install and maintain machines and equipment, and to carry out other duties in order to keep the physical plant and its various systems running safely and smoothly.

Experience and state licensure to carry out electrical and/or plumbing work a plus.

Technical proficiency and strong computer skills a must have.

The selected candidate must also have excellent problem solving skills and a deep understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.

This role requires stamina and strength, as the selected candidate may have to stand for long periods of time and move or carry heavy objects.

Requirements

What You Have:

• Previous experience in physical plant or sophisticated machine maintenance;
• Previous experience with the safe use of power and hand tools;
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions, manuals, drawing and schematics;
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, maintain and repair key facility systems;
• Capable of performing routine maintenance and sanitization;
• Ability to work independently and anticipate problems;
• High level of attention to detail;
• Previous experience in agriculture related setting a plus but not required;
• Previous experience complying with food safety protocols a plus but not required; and
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret facilities related data, including charts, graphs and Excel spreadsheets.
