Picker/Packer or Inventory worker Job at Owens Corning
Job Description:
Responsible for daily 5S activities in relation to relocation and restructuring of storeroom layout due to Line 1 Winder Project. 5S activities include sorting of spare parts, setting in order, shine/cleaning of storeroom, standardizing layout of storeroom, and to sustaining storeroom 5s by following correct procedures in place.
- Operate industrial equipment when required
- Identify and locate spare parts inventory when needed
- Must maintain established organization of storeroom areas
- Must ensure storeroom cleanliness is maintained to help with organization and keep free of safety concerns
- Organizational skills a must
- Ensure items received are stored in the proper location
- Ability to move items to new locations within SAP AND physically within the storeroom to accommodate new items
- Labeling all bin locations and all spare part inventory accurately
- Correctly cycle count daily and log results to help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure all assigned 5S activities are completed per determined deadlines to help meet Storeroom relocation project.
- Knowledge of SAP
- Must have GED / High School Diploma
- 1 year forklift experience
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Aiken, SC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
