Now Hiring – Full Time Registered Pharmacy Technician

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm (40 hrs/ wk -8hr scheduled shift during this time for full time)

We have been providing long-term care pharmacy services since 2007, but we originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Packages prescriptions in blister cards

• Sorts and organizes completed prescriptions

• Prepares shipments

• Performs other duties as assigned

  
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Can perform pharmacy calculations

• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions

• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner

• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance

• PTCB Certified required

• NJ Board of Pharmacy Registered Technician license in good standing is required

  
  

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• 1+ year experience in a pharmacy environment preferred.

• Frameworks experience is a plus

• DocuTrack experience is a plus
