Perishable Associate Job at Crossroads IGA
POSITION SUMMARY
Assist Perishable Manager in the operation of the Perishable department, including but not limited to, ordering,
merchandising, rotating product, inventorying merchandise and profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain Perishable case and keep rotated at all times.
- Responsible for overall appearance and eye appeal of sales floor.
- Assist in ordering and merchandising allowing for the shift in demand and seasonal availability.
- Assist Perishable Manager in ordering all Perishables.
- Assist Perishable Manager in keeping cooler dated, organized and properly rotated.
- Assist Perishable Manager in calling in credits within the allowed time.
- Assist Perishable Manager with the four-week period end Perishable inventory.
- Assist Perishable Manager with recording and maintaining accurate bookkeeping systems including but not limited to weekly and monthly Perishable purchases.
- Provide excellent customer service, including but not limited to friendly, courteous and prompt customer service.
- Other job related tasks as needed.
