Career Opportunity: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Position: Full-time | PRN | Contractor

Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified licensed SLP to help us with patients dealing with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments that affect a patient's communicative ability.
SLP Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech Therapist or a Speech Language Pathologist
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Experience in the home care setting preferred
• Therapist’s level of experience will be considered in a decision regarding what responsibilities the therapist may have with Rehab at Home
• Please note that while Bilingual SLPs are preferred, we at Rehab at Home sincerely believe that the craft of speech therapy cannot and should not be reduced to any single factor. Regardless of language ability, the quality of therapy will be what matters the most.

SLP Responsibilities:

• Assessment of prior and current levels of functioning.
• Setting appropriate goals.
• Provides therapeutic treatments for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders with appropriate tests and measurements.
• Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of

care.

• Making appropriate discharge recommendations in accordance with standards of practice.
