Job Summary: Design the strategy and manage the entire portfolio of payment solutions (Credit and Debit Cards), end to end development, market readiness, product life cycle and, including the integration of global and local components and coordination with different stakeholders and external partners, as necessary to deliver the best perennial value proposition to our clients.

  • Understand the financial services and payments industry and competitive landscape including clients’ needs, product functionality, market trends.
  • Assist the development of short and long term strategy to innovate product and channel strategy. Survey payment industry efforts and selected peer competitors to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Understand emerging technologies, manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, from concept, ideation through planning, development and execution.
  • Work with external vendors to shape the product strategy roadmap, partner with internal teams and head office to bring new products and services to market.
  • Manage KPIs and product portfolio P&L.
  • Manage Credit Card and Debit Card products/solutions lifecycle.
  • Manage product value proposition, key benefits and characteristics.
  • Manage external vendors responsible for payments end-to-end operations, including processing services and technology providers, card networks, customer service/call centers, embossing and printing capabilities, loyalty platforms, channels and potential business partners.
  • Actively ensure compliance with the Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Manage credit and debit card products parameters and monitor portfolio KPIs on card activity, revenues and operational costs.
  • Support product development and portfolio management teams in developing new features, product characteristics and procedures.
  • Liaise with peer subject matter experts in the day to day efforts related to consumer protection laws, rules, regulations and related policies.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as program evolves

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of financial services / banking / credit card processing and operations experience,
  • Process Management skills
  • Entrepreneurial skills and self motivation to work in a startup like environment
  • Previous product management, customer service or operations experience in financial services / payment methods desirable
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements: Fair Lending, Equal Credit Opportunity Act Reg. B, Fair Debt Collections Practice Act (FDCPA), Privacy of Client Financial Information/GLBA, The Truth in Lending Act (TILA),, Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), FACT Act, as it pertains to credit card issuance

Education and Experience: BA Degree in Business, Finance or similar areas.

Language Skills: Excellent Written/Verbal skills, English, Portuguese. Spanish skills desirable.
