Patient Coordinator - Entry Level Job at Cardiac Solutions
POSITION SUMMARY:
This an entry level non-clinical position is responsible for monitoring the physician?s office schedules and for placing patients in exam rooms in a timely, efficient, and organized manner. Coordinates with other departments for any necessary testing or follow-up appointments that the physician requires during or after the patient is seen. Hours are M-F 7:45am - 4:15pm and must be willing to travel to all west valley locations (Peoria, Sun City West, Glendale).
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Stocks patient exam rooms and provider workspace with necessary supplies
- Checks the schedule for each following day to prep provider workspace as necessary.
- Responsible for checking the physician?s folders and distributing items.
- Maintains and stocks the back-office area and samples closets
- Ensures all exam rooms are prepped and cleaned for each patient
- Responsible for plugging in and powering off laptops at the end of each clinic day.
- Ensures provider areas operate and run smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
- Coordinates with CCI Coordinator to keep patient flow organized and efficient.
- Assists other back-office departments with patients and other non-clinical tasks
- Updates Reps phone numbers and ensures they are accurate.
- Maintains clean and clutter-free work area.
- Other non-clinical duties as assigned.
