FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Good knowledge of games, hobbies and related recreational activities for the elderly; ability to create interest in the recreation program; ability to give instructions in various recreational activities; ability to deal tactfully with the elderly; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
NOTE: Relevant experience will be substituted for the high school diploma on a year-for-year basis.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
At the time of appointment, and during employment in this title, employees will be required to possess a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State. The type of license required will be determined by the appointing authority with respect to the type of vehicle to be operate
