Part-time Special Education Assistant Job at Manheim Township School District

Position Type:
Special Education Assistant - Part-time-10 month (school term) M-F (5.75 hrs/day)
Qualifications:
HS Diploma/GED Required; Educational child care experience preferred; technology/computer skills; strong organizational and time management skills.
Location:
Positions available in multiple elementary and secondary buildings
Additional Information:
This position is responsible for assisting teachers with instructional support to meet daily lesson plans provided by the teacher as well as the goals of each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Works with students with varying ability levels and needs in a classroom setting.
Benefits of position: No work during summer months, no weekend or evening work, ongoing training provided, state retirement plan eligibility, ability to purchase dental insurance.
Salary dependent upon position and experience - minimum starting rate-$15.20 per hour.
