EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
PART-TIME RECREATION DIRECTOR
The Select Board is looking to hire a dynamic, creative, and energetic Recreation Director. The Recreation Director responsibilities would include developing, promoting, and conducting recreation programming and events for all ages.
Technical skills required are word processing, spreadsheet manipulation, basic graphic design, and ability to learn web-based software. Strong communication, organization skills, and flexibility is needed as well as an overall positive community outlook.
Recreation Director should have a thorough knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices around recreation programming.
Part time 12-hour work week up to $23 per hour rate. Requires some evening and weekend hours for recreation activities and events.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in recreation, education, related field, or equivalent work history is preferred.
