Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is hiring staff to fill multiple park maintenance positions, both part-time and seasonal! We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Park Maintenance Tech assists in providing general ground and landscape maintenance clean up support of park grounds, structures and facilities and the operation of related maintenance equipment. The Park Maintenance Tech III is responsible for a wide variety of duties in the area of park and landscape maintenance, including landscaping, pruning, trimming, mowing, painting, and other general park maintenance work.
Park Maintenance Crew Lead assists the Full-Time Park Maintenance Specialist in daily operations and supervision of part time staff. Daily Operations consist of landscape maintenance, playground inspection and maintenance, restroom and litter service, irrigation maintenance and equipment operation. This position includes other related work as assigned.
Park Maintenance Equipment Operator performs turf and landscape maintenance of THPRD parks and Beaverton School District properties. Daily Operations consist of driving District vehicles while towing a loaded trailer, mowing, aerating, fertilizing, overseeding, and topdressing parks and athletic fields, as well as inspection and basic maintenance of equipment and vehicles. This position also includes some other related work as assigned.

The fine print: You must be 18 years of age to be eligible for park maintenance tech jobs. Hours may vary and are based on program needs and job classification. Part-time employees are scheduled variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year.
