We are looking for a Paralegal Assistant to join our team and provide support to our attorneys. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing dockets for US and foreign patents, trademarks and licenses, managing and preparing correspondence for US and foreing intellectual property matters, preparing and filing legal documents, and managing case files. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the legal system and a commitment to providing quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Managing complex dockets for US patent and trademarks
- Managing complex dockets for foreign patents and trademarks
- Preparing and managing correspondance with diverse parties, including clients, US patent and trademark examiners, as well as US and foreign counsel
- Drafting and filing legal documents with the US Patent and Trademark Office
- Organizing and maintaining legal files
- Assisting attorneys with document preparation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,242.00 - $46,823.00 per year
