Job Description:
A Capital Precast skilled Mi-Jack crane operator will mobilize forms and products used during our manufacturing process. The operator is responsible for adjusting the crane according to the site conditions and making sure that all parts of the crane are in proper working conditions. The Operator owns the Mi-Jack Crane process from beginning of shift until end. To Include, but not limited to, pre-operations checks, routine overall maintenance, operation, and proper shut down.
In the case of any part not working properly, the crane operator is required to assess and corrects. A Mi-Jack Crane Operator on Capital Precast’s Production Team is safety minded. The Operator is observant of surroundings and always adjusts to safely operator the Mi-Jack Crane. Above all, the Mi-Jack Crane Operator ensures the safety of the crane and all people around it.
Safety:
- Perform Pre-Shift Inspection daily with proper documentation
- Report all serious issues immediately prior to operation
- Always operate equipment in a safe manner
- Maintain safe working speeds in the plant and yard
- Maintain safe working distance between mobile equipment. (50 ft. or three truck lengths)
- Do not operate Mi-Jack in or through Safe Zone Areas
- Ability to follow instruction
- Know company safety policy and processes
Other Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a Mi-Jack Crane
- Mi-Jack Crane Certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of rigging and load plans
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in Mi-Jack cranes
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of Mi-Jack
- Ability to follow instruction and report unsafe conditions
- Effectively communicate both written, hand signals, and verbal
- Must pass urinalysis drug test
- Must clear background check
- OSHA 10 (preferred)
- Bi-lingual (preferred)
Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday
- 10-12 hour shifts
- Opportunity for Overtime
