Proud of over a 60-year history, our East Region Distribution Center has opportunities for Packaging Line Operators. Must be available to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required. Positions require lifting up to 60 lbs., solid attendance, and pre-employment physical, drug and background screening. Positions start at over $20 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs work necessary for the set-up/operation of assembly packing lines.
Directs and trains up to 30 associates assigned to the line.
Sets up packaging lines; determines supplies needed according to packaging specs and set-up sheets.
Stages sufficient quantities of glassware, packing material and accessories.
Verifies and identifies ware, accessories and packing material for conformance.
Responsible to meet production schedule, quality, safety and efficiency goals.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Experience preferred in a distribution/manufacturing environment
Strong communication/interpersonal skills
Strong Leadership qualities
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
Good judgment/problem-solving skills
