This Outside Parts Sales position earns a competitive wage, depending on skills and experience. Position Summary:
The Truck Parts Sales position is responsible for soliciting parts business from assigned accounts through personal and phone contact for the Kriete Truck Center with respect to the medium-duty and heavy-duty truck market in an assigned territory.
Job Duties Include:
- Service existing accounts and communicate with clients on a regular basis.
- Follow up on orders to ensure that customers are served promptly.
- Discuss use and features of various parts.
- Prospect for new customers.
- Coordinate parts and service sales with the appropriate personnel. Advise counter person on delivery instructions.
- Occasionally assist in delivering and picking up parts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and driving record that allows insurability.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work with a wide variety of clients and other stakeholders, building professional relationships and partnerships
- Ability to work independently, perform under pressure, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Solid oral and written communication skills
