As a Business Development Representative at our growing company, you will work with a team of professionals dedicated to manufacturing quality commercial office furniture to dealers, architects and more. This position will cover the North East Ohio / Pittsburgh region and surrounding markets.

This is not HARD sales!!!! Our reps work to increase awareness of Maverick's products with dealers and their teams by making sales calls, providing training and networking to uncover new furniture dealers.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase market share by calling on assigned dealers to increase salespeople’s awareness of the MAV opportunity.
  • Foster and develop new dealer relationships to further Maverick’s market share.
  • Provides training to dealer salespeople in person and via virtual meetings on MAV products and availability.
  • Makes sales calls with dealer salespeople in order to demonstrate the Maverick offerings to their clients as a product expert.
  • Gives presentations to the A&D community.
  • Collaborates with the design team to create special products and drawing to meet customer needs.
  • Communicates regularly with the factory customer service, design, engineering, and production teams regarding customer orders.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and commission goals.
  • Research current market trends and learn about new product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years prior outside sales experience.
  • Ability to present information to a group.
  • Ability to understand floor plans and conceptual drawings.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
