Job Summary
Saia is currently recruiting an Operations Clerk III to join our team. As an Operations Clerk III, you will be play an integral role in the day to day operations of the terminal by performing administrative duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to both internal and external customers to include setting appointments for customers and tracking shipments
- Assist in dispatching drivers
- Create, scan, image, copy and/or code shipping documents
- Assist with OS&D for the terminal including assisting with OS&D investigations on the dock
- Perform dock checks
- May perform driver check-in activities
- May direct work of other admin personnel
- Other office duties as required
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of office and customer service experience, in a transportation environment a plus
- OS&D experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with AS400 system
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Detail Oriented
Pay Rate: $19.99 - $25.25 per hour, based on experience
