Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician

Wagner Kapoor Institute is a growing practice that shares its time between 4 local locations and 5 travel offices. The technician role is a fast-paced position that requires a positive demeanor, high attention to detail, and ability to work within a team to deliver outstanding patient care.

Job Description:

Through on-the-job training, you will become a fully cross-trained retina technician.

-Patient workup

-Accurately record information into EHR

-Collect meaningful use information

-Perform diagnostic testing

-Fluorescein angiography (FA)

-Indocyanine green (ICG) angiogram

-Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

-Work as part of a team to successfully execute the best workflow

-Learn to run a fast moving lean clinic floor

-Scribe for doctor

• Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

• Education Preferred: Bachelor- Pre-Med a plus
• Travel required Locally

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
