An award winning leader in Eye Care, NEOES is seeking highly motivated Ophthalmic Scribes to join our dynamic & growing team.
POSITION SUMMARY: Works in a collaborative manner with patients, physicians and co-worker. Accurately and neatly documents ophthalmic examination assessments and evaluations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately and efficiently performs documentation processes
- Exhibits knowledge of medical insurance, and proper use computer software
- Performs general office duties
- Communicates effectively and professionally with practitioners, co-workers, management and patients
- Adheres to organizational policy and procedure
- Adheres to Service Excellence Standards of Performance
High school diploma
Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred
1 year of medical office experience preferred
Must be able to travel to Stow, Kent & Fairlawn offices
