Lake Orion Nursing and Rehab Center is offering a paid training program for aspiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). CNAs support the nursing staff by performing basic nursing care to patients, assisting and maintaining a safe work environment, and meeting the communications needs of the patients all while ensuring privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and respecting the patients' rights.

The training program will take two weeks to complete and prepares applicants for the State Certification Exam. The State Exam must be taken within four months of employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lake Orion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Cost: McLaren will cover the cost of the course and exam

Wage: $17 an hour

Experience: Direct Care Worker, Patient Care Assistant, Medical Assistant Preferred.

Shifts: Days,Afternoons, or Midnights
