Schedule: 40 hours per week. Team members must be flexible to work between 8a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and on call on weekends. On-call paid at 2.25/hour

Essential Job Duties:

  • Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of basic programs such as (word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and be prepared to demonstrate it during the interview.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be prepared to demonstrate both during the interview.
  • Own scheduling of staff members, able to solve staffing issues quickly and efficiently. o Schedule responsibilities: Add, cancel, or make changes to the staffing schedule; document and track as needed for payroll. Adjusting schedules due to absences and coverage changes. PTO: Process requests – working DON and Admin to approve/deny requests when they come in and Enter requests into RTasks for payroll tracking. RTasks Documentation to: Track attendance, Track PTO, Upload documentation. Communication/Documentation: Call outs, No Call No Shows, PTO requests
  • Resolve staffing conflicts and be creative in solutions to ensure residents get the best care possible.
  • Schedule and oversee staff onboarding, orientation and training: o Collect applications and present leadership. o Collect, complete, and file all new hire and transfer documents per state and federal statues o Schedule all needed pre and post hire requirements. o Update all appropriate spreadsheets and documents with new hire information. o Assist in the design and implementation of the recruitment plan. o Schedule orientation courses and ongoing educational courses in coordination with Administration.
  • Develops and sustains a level of professionalism and conduct that is in alignment with our company values and culture. • Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional and pleasant disposition. Be knowledgeable and courteous while assisting customers and transferring calls to appropriate associates or areas for further assistance.
  • Assist in general office duties that include mail service, sorting and opening mail to deliver to appropriate individual/department, updating phone lists and assisting other office duties as needed.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, efficient, responsible and able to handle resident needs by providing high quality services in accordance with the standards set by facility, the state, and Federal regulations.
  • Must organize, schedule, market, and lead engaging, stimulating, and unique activities for all residents. This includes daily activities in the Memory Care unit and Assisted Living unit as well as special events.
  • Must design, organize and create a system for ordering and managing supplies inventory throughout the facility.
  • Assist in various projects for members of the Leadership team as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned. Responsibilities:
  • Provide tours of the facility as needed.
  • Complete, file, and upload resident paperwork as outlined.
  • Complete, file and upload employment paperwork as outlined and in compliance with state and federal regulation.
  • Document and assist in the management of internal facility accounts.
  • Enter accurate quality data into systems and present information to the designated individual resident.
  • Prepare documents for meetings and events.
  • Assist with laundry services as directed
  • Prepare dining room for meals, serve and clean up dining room after meals.
  • Assist with washing dishes and putting away clean dishes.
  • Must always treat clients with complete respect and cooperation-no exceptions.
  • Assist with any needs of clients first, answer call pendants as soon as possible.
  • Immediately report any significant resident changes to management.
  • To help prepare for special events at Lakewood Landing such as holiday parties, birthday parties or musical events.
  • To be able to follow all guidelines of infection control, wearing gloves at appropriate times, frequent hand washing and use of sanitizing gel.
  • Order memorials, order flowers for staff and residents when hospitalized or for other celebrations / activities that may arise. Send Thank You notes to any person that provides a donated service or product.
  • Be able to fill in on shifts when needed and be available and dependable.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift 50lbs from the ground to a shelf without risk of injury. Must be physically capable of assisting/lifting a normal sized adult from their wheelchair to their bed, or from their bed to wheelchair.
  • Must be able to sit for periods of 3+ hours at a time.
