SUMMARY:

Family Service League is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant for evenings and Saturday mornings who will provide general clerical functions for our Bay Shore location.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform general clerical functions, including answering phones, scheduling, loading appointments, scanning and interacting with clients and referral sources.
  • Perform electronic data entry and record keeping.
  • Schedule client appointments and take payments.
  • Help establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to assist the multidisciplinary team while efficiently operating the office.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • One year of office or customer service experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required.
  • The ability to work as a team required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
