Occupational Therapist need in Skilled Nursing Facility in Bennington, VT - 12-Week Contract - with potential to extend
Advance Rehab Care is looking for an Occupational Therapy who will provide Occupational Therapy and related services.

Monday-Friday 8-hour Shifts

Pay depends on employment status and experience

Summary:
Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function/occupation and developmental disorders in the geriatric center.
• Oversees and insures a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and immediate environmental well-being of the patient
• Coordinates and communicates with various disciplines or services involved in patient care.
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy.
• Skilled Nursing Facility Experience Preferred not required
• Experience in a long-term care setting
• Firm knowledge of medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

• Proficient computer skills, verbal and written communication.

Computer Software:

• We use NetHealth formerly Rehab Optima and Point Click Care

Certificates And Licenses:

• Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Valid Occupational Therapist State License

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
