Founded in 1993, PsychAssociates Group is a leading psychologist-owned group practice. Our psychologists provide high quality behavioral health services to populations in short-term acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities throughout New York City, Long Island, and Westchester County. We are psychologist-owned, psychologist-led, and 100% of our clinical staff are NYS licensed psychologists.

Requirements:

• Must have doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, neuropsychology, or health psychology
• Must have NYS license in psychology (or within 3 months of full licensure)
• Experience and training in geriatric psychology, neuropsychology, and/or health psychology is a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose and provide treatment to a patients with varied mental health needs in a culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and other related service providers to assure continuity of care
• Present in-service trainings to other clinical disciplines within the facility to optimize patient outcomes

Full Time and Part Time positions available which provide flexibility with private practice demands and to optimize work-life balance. We currently have openings at several very well-regarded facilities in the following areas: Mt Vernon, Mamaroneck, Dobbs Ferry, Riverdale, the Upper East Side/Yorkville, Morningside Heights, the Rockaway and Flushing areas of Queens, the Manhattan Beach area of Brooklyn, Staten Island, the Bronx, Long Beach, Smithtown, Huntington, and West Islip. Our group has been the contracted psychology group for a majority of the facilities that we serve for more than 10 years and the average tenure of psychologists with our group is likewise over 10 years.
