The Barron Center, where kindness matters, has an opportunity to join a truly excellent, stable and dedicated professional Nursing team. The Unit Assistant is responsible for assisting the Nursing team by creating a homelike environment for our Residents. You will be supporting our Nursing team by providing services to assist Residents’ basic care needs within your scope of practice. Opportunities to take the CNA course at the Barron Center to advance your position.

• Hiring All Shifts - 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am

Compensation:

• Union negotiated wages starting between $14.57-$20.14 depending on years of experience.
• Shift differentials vary from $2.00-$5.00 depending on the shift worked.
• Additional $5.00 for each hour worked until at least December 2022 (from our Cares ACT funding)
• Overtime paid by the day, not accumulated week totals

Requirements:

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Must complete and successfully become a C.N.A. within one year of completing the CNA course. Courses offered at Barron Center.
