The Nurse Supervisor provides strategic nursing leadership for resident care in the community by managing, directing and monitoring the nursing team to promote the health and wellness of the resident population. Will assist in overseeing program development, updates, and ensuring that active treatment is taking place. Positions managed: Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses with collaboration with Program Management and Skills Coaches. Recruits, hires and trains team members and is responsible for performance management, evaluation and engagement.

Provides oversight of the community medication management program to promote resident safety in the medication use process. Provides clinical training and education as needed to nurse and others who provide resident care. Performs skill evaluation to assure clinical capability of care team members. Tracks, trends and reports clinical quality data to identify risk. Leads clinical quality and process improvement initiatives within the Facility to mitigate risk and improve resident care outcomes.

Instructs Standard Precautions/Infection Prevention, Patient Safety during new employee orientation. Ensures all new employees complete the Employee Health History, TB Risk Assessment, and facilitates the completion of the Report of Tuberculosis Screening.

Maintains strict confidentiality and privacy of students' and residents' personally identifiable health information in accordance with HIPAA privacy rules and Facility policies. Meets mandatory staff development requirement per the standards of all regulatory and accrediting agencies.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred


Minimum two (2) years RN experience; at least one (1) year experience working with adolescents

Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management scheduling and daily operations supervision


Registered Nurse License by the Department of Health Professions in good standing.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

First Aide

Behavioral Management program, within 30 days

Valid Driver's License in good standing
