The NDT Inspector is responsible for performing Non-Destructive Testing procedures across the Qantas Group fleet including on aircraft structures and components. Working as part of the team, your key responsibilities will include performing Non-Destructive Testing inspections, interpreting and evaluating NDT results and ensuring relevant training is complete.
You’ll have –
  • Cert IV Aeroskills Trade Qualification
  • A FAA A&P Licence
  • Prior experience with the following Non-Destructive Techniques – Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current Testing and Penetrant Testing
  • Intermediate level of ability across Microsoft Suite of products
  • High level understanding of relevant Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (SRM, AMM, etc.)
  • Willingness to work across shifts.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimum supervision
  • Experience on aircraft undergoing heavy maintenance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Spot on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Unrestricted working rights for the USA
