The Sign Patrol Specialist role is key to our daily operations. The purpose of sign patrols is to generate sales leads by driving through specified routes/geographic areas to identify and report sign and lighting outages and potential service opportunities within the business territory.

We are seeking a part-time Sign Patrol Specialist to monitor and report electric sign and lighting outages, sign service, and/or repair opportunities in Southeastern Charlotteand the surrounding areas. This position is 90% remote, however, the work is done in the field and cannot be done from home. Our home office is located at 400 Clanton Rd Ste L Charlotte, NC.

Hours: Part-time approximately 20 hours per week.
Shifts: Evenings/Swing starting at dusk +/4-5 hours
Wage: $16.00 + mileage and incentives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to take direction remotely and complete work independently.
• Ability to drive at night and see detail at a distance.
• Patrols widely across a grid of general geographic areas as assigned via the Servizio handheld application (called routes).
• Performs continuous visual scanning from vehicle to identify any sign and lighting outages, sign service issues, or parking lot lighting issues on any building, or business.
• Ensure specific surveillance of all marked waypoints (current customers) within the route for sign and lighting outages and service opportunities.
• Generate 30 new “patrols” per night (clear photo, problem description, linked customer).
• Document outages by taking pictures and recording pertinent details in Servizio.
• Attends weekly patrol huddle (virtual) with the patrol team
• Synchronizes new patrols to the office desk-top nightly.

• Must have a state-issued driver’s license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to drive an automobile.
• Ability to use mobile smartphone technology and Servizio application.
• Ability to see from a distance.
• Proof of insurance.
