Position Summary
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized and detail oriented, has a positive flexible attitude, enjoys learning and excels at problem-solving. Essential tasks include managing the new business process, managing carrier contracting, and answering client queries. This role is for an individual looking to learn and expand their skill set, has a positive and professional demeanor, has impeccable accuracy, is willing to go the extra mile, and can prioritize and respond to requests in a timely fashion.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Communicate professionally, concisely, and effectively with internal and external customers
  • multi-task and prioritizing daily activities
  • Understand and deliver a high level of service to advisors, vendors, carriers, and fellow employees
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely responses to emails and phone calls
  • Responsible for new application processing including entering all required information into our case management system
  • Work closely with the Director of New Business and Case Managers
  • Manage new business process
  • Research and obtain requirements
  • Update and communicate with carriers and clients
  • Initiate, manage and confirm advisor licensing & appointment status
  • Manage and maintain all records in Agency Management Solution (SmartOffice)
  • Remain abreast of all licensing regulations

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-4 years related new business operational experience,
  • Life Insurance experience preferred.
  • Agency Management Systems experience preferred (SmartOffice)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional PDF maker
  • Foundational understanding of technology and ability to assist with basic PC/internet technical troubleshooting
  • A positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Fast-learner, results-oriented, inquisitive individual motivated to grow and develop
  • Confident, team player who can help create, refine, and expand this role over time
  • Strong attention to detail
