Responsible for developing and growing B2B gifting and catering sales of HBH products with a focus on national business prospects across assigned sales verticals and accounts. This is mainly a “hunter” sales position and responsible for generating new leads and converting them into new customers. There will some responsibilities to maintain and nurture a number of current major accounts. Duties will include heavy telemarketing prospecting, with some e-mail prospecting and potential off-site sales visits. This role will include working from home when not making sales calls, visits, attending training classes at the corporate office, or other sales driving activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospects, qualifies and sells HBH B2B (catering and gifting) to new corporate customers within assigned sales verticals/vertical market. Builds relationships with new B2B customers to encourage frequent and repeat business. Sells HBH products and Gift Cards to corporate customers by determining needs.
  • Achieves assigned sales targets on a monthly and trimester basis.
  • Achieves assigned number of sales driving activities and tasks on a daily basis such as number of calls, visits, e-mails, etc. that leads to the assigned sales target.
  • Records work completed daily in designated reporting system (i.e. CRM, etc.).
  • Performs administrative and recordkeeping duties such as accepting orders, entering orders in to the HBH Point of Sale system, submitting orders on a timely basis for fulfillment, creating and maintaining prospecting lists, providing customer service assistance to corporate clients, and generating and submitting telemarketing activity reports on a regular basis.
  • Schedules and conducts delivery of HoneyBaked Happiness (samples), as well as Lunch and Learn seminars with groups of businesses or large businesses.
  • Places follow-up calls to customers prior to order receipt and after order receipt to ensure customer satisfaction with the process and purchase.
  • Reports customer issues and major changes to the Supervisor for resolution.
  • Maintains and nurtures a number of larger current accounts throughout the year.
  • Builds relationships with field leadership to gain a better understanding of the market (s) and the strengths of the stores.
  • Performs other duties as required by business and departmental requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Great organizational and planning skills, strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a sales position with heavy telemarketing experience.
  • Solid experience with all Microsoft products, especially Excel.

YOUR TRACK RECORD

Associates Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position may require around 25% to 50% travel within an assigned market, so this position does require a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • This position may require overnight travel with sufficient notice (1-2 weeks advance notice).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking. There is some requirement to lift or handle material and/or equipment of moderate weight (up to 20 pounds).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is periodically exposed to conditions common to food processing including noisy environments and cold temperatures.

Pay: $77,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
