Mixer Job at Strikeforce Staffing LLC
Industrial Bakery, located in Canarsie Brooklyn is looking for an experienced Mixer. The mixeris responsible for mixing large batches of product with the support of the Bakery Manager. The mixer assures that the highest quality of dough mixes are processed to specified standards. Assuring that the scheduled amount of dough is prepared for a production run and monitoring that sufficient ingredients are available for preparing the targeted batches.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Know correct mixing order. Must be accurate in mixing, dividing, shaping, proofing, and baking to ensure consistency in daily production
Mix doughs correctly and weigh/measure accurately using scales
Understand and follow all recipes and instructions as well as know the location of all ingredients
Prepare and mix ingredients to specified mixing time and temperature
Visually and physically verify the texture of the dough to assure targeted texture characteristics
Follow production schedule
Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
Minimizing waste
Ensuring that all work areas remain clean and organized
Ensuring that all food products are stored properly
Completing other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
