JOB SUMMARY FOR A MERCHANDISER:
Merchandisers set the convenience store business segment with AMCON products. They collaborate with the sales department to execute the construction of product placement and promotional displays at retail locations using planograms to create an attractive presentation to interest consumers and produce sales.
This is a high travel job, Monday through Thursday nights; half day on Friday's in Bismarck. A company van is provided. Merchandisers work on their own and require a high level of focus with attention to detail. Must be able to interact with customers and maintain a high standard of honesty and integrity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS FOR A MERCHANDISER:

• Perform store resets and sets to maximize each customer’s inside sales
• Maintain a positive relationship customers
• Achieve consistency in merchandise presentation and implementation of planograms

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MERCHANDISER:

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Ability to work independently
• High level of focus with attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds and stand, bend and lift regularly
• Good driving record
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MERCHANDISER:

• Four to six months related experience
