Secure Base Counseling Center is an outpatient mental health facility located in Northfield, New Prague, and Farmington MN. We offer a variety of services throughout the life span including psychotherapy, play therapy, medication management, and rehabilitative services (CTSS and ARMHS). Secure Base Counseling Center is hiring CTSS and ARMHS Mental Health Practitioners to join our team!

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Mental Health Practitioners work directly with clients throughout the lifespan in the home and community.

SALARY: $20 - $25 per client contact hour, based on experience. Travel reimbursement included!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum education: Bachelors degree in behavioral sciences or related fields and 2,000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with a mental illness or a substance use disorder; or a traumatic brain injury or a developmental disability
• OR 4,000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with a mental illness or a substance use disorder; or a traumatic brain injury or a developmental disability
• OR completed a practicum or internship which required direct interaction with adults or children and was focused on behavioral sciences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Willingness to work from an attachment perspective and with a team approach.
• Work directly with clients in-home, in the community, in schools and in the office. Transport clients in employee owned vehicles and work across environments.
• Work collaboratively with the therapist and clinical supervisor to create treatment plans for their clients.
• Write progress notes for each session conducted with a client.
• Maintains own caseload, schedules those clients both in home and in office.
• Attend mandatory weekly educational and case consultation meetings.
