The individual is responsible for quality control. quality assurance, preventative maintenance, and patient testing. Also, the individual will prepare samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation, performs numerous complicated tests simultaneously and accurately interprets the patient results.
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree in MLT or Bachelor’s Degree in MT
- ASCP or equivalent certification required. Individual can be in the process of obtaining certification.
- Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices. Infection Control Requirements. Chemical and Biological Hazards
