Contractor Sought

Associated Couriers is looking for a dependable and professional independent contractor courier for one, or all, of the following:

• Routed Deliveries - Varying routes that have more of a set schedule to them. **NOTE: routes may change unexpectedly based on customer needs
• STAT/On-Demand - Sign-on to our dispatching app and pick up and deliver orders until you sign-off
• Backup/Standby - Fill in on routes where necessary

Services Sought

For this contract, you will be picking up and delivering pharmaceutical medications to patient homes and long-term care facilities

Coverage Sought

Monday - Friday:

Pick up times at 12:45pm and 7pm for route launches

Saturday & Sunday:

Pick up time at 3pm for route launch

STAT/On-Demand orders available periodically (24hrs a day /7 days a week /365 days a year)

Approx. route completion times = 2.5hrs to 8.5hrs

1-4 stops per route

Approx. 125 to 455 miles per route

Route Destinations: Easley, SC to Mt. Pleasant, Columbia, and Inman SC

Contractor Commissions

• Per stop fee, per mile fee + variable fuel surcharge in some of our markets
• Paid weekly through our third-party administrator Openforce
• Specific commission details can be discussed later in the pre-contracting process

Requirements for Contract

• Be at least 19 years of age
• MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19 (per our customer request)
• Live within 25 miles of zip code 29640
• Own a reliable and registered vehicle that would be used for this contract
• Have and maintain state minimum requirements for bodily injury and property damage as primary auto insurance
• Must pass a drug screen, background check, and online training modules
• Must have a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents in the last three years
• Must adhere to professional appearance standards:

• Solid white and/or royal blue polo shirt
• Solid colored pants (no athletic wear or sweatpants)
• Comfortable shoes/boots (no flip-flops, high heels, sandals, etc)
• Driver badge (supplied by AC) prominently displayed

Contracting with Associated Couriers

Our 1099-contracts are offered to interested and qualifying contractors on a first come, first served basis. The process to contract with Associated Couriers takes approximately 2-5 days start to finish. Because of the high volume of interest we receive for our contracts, we have a strict policy which requires interested parties to finish our pre-contracting process within two business days, otherwise we will communicate with the next interested party.
