Medical Biller Specialist

We are a medical billing company located in Ravenna, OH. Due to growth, we are seeking several Medical Billing Specialists to join our team . If you have experience in any of the following areas, we would be interested in hearing from you!

CODING:

• Assignment of codes to diagnoses and procedures using ICD and CPT Codes
• Reviewing claim status of Anthem, United Health Care, Buckeye, Molina and other insurance companies via on line or phone
• Investigation of claim denials

Medical Billing Follow-up:

• Assisting patients with an insurance company regarding problem resolution and corrections of claims

Payment Posting:

• Accurately positing payments received from medical insurance companies to the company’s software program
• Balance payments and daily deposits

We are looking for people with the following skill sets...

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Working knowledge of insurance payers such as Anthem, United Health Care, Buckeye, Molina, etc..
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Payment Posting and Coding experience is a plus
• Always maintain strict client and patient confidentiality standards
• Knowledge of the appeals process is a plus!
