The Caring Healthcare Network is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The CHN in Philipsburg is a Rural Healthcare Clinic that specializes in Pain Management, Behavioral Health, Primary Care, Chiropractic and Laboratory billing. We also have a non-RHC clinic in Altoona with the same specialties.
This position will report to the clinic in Philipsburg. Must be friendly and able to interact with our patients and staff to explain medical benefits or issues with benefits.
Primary duties would be full-cycle billing for the RHC and Non-RHC,
Benefit Inquires,
Claim submissions,
Payment postings,
AR which includes Denial and Rejection.
Must be willing and able to research issues and be willing to call insurance companies for denial work and patient billing issues. Prior billing experience of at least (2) years in a clinic environment is preferred.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
